Once again I have let time go by and not posted. I have been reading up a storm that is why and I also was in London last week for this wonderful exhibition so I hope you will forgive me.

Yes I noticed that too. I really dislike exclamation marks and feel they should be used in very exceptional circumstances. I am currently reading a Golden Age detective writer, George Bellairs and he peppers the text with them. Irritating

I see by the bye that you’ve been reading Ann Granger’s Mitchell & Markby series which I very much enjoyed when they first came out except for her use of exclamation marks…EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!! Am I just being pedantic (moi? really?!!) or have you noticed it too?
