Going quiet for a bit

A very old friend of our family has died. Her name was Erika, she was my mum's friend for over fifty years and my sister and I have known her since we were children. Very suddenly last week, OK she was 90, but full of beans so it was a shock. I am executor of her will and am in the middle of organising funeral, dealing with solicitors etc all the stuff that has to be done.

Therefore, I will be absent for a bit so just wanted to let you know that I have not forgotten you all. Books are piling up but they will have to wait I am afraid.

    Thanks for all the lovely comments. In throes of organising funeral etc am also executor of the will and so am rather snowed under but it will get better
