I am besotted with this little family. Yesterday the mother was sailing serenely across the lake with her six offspring in a row behind her with father bringing up the rear and keeping a watchful eye. Lots of oohs and aashs from the small children who come along with their parents to feed the ducks and birds. I trot along every day to check on progress and the cygnets are getting visibly bigger each time I look at them.
